- Interface & sector format
- Confirm SAS or SATA, the controller and the sector format required by the array. A similar connector or matching capacity does not establish compatibility.
- Mechanical fit
- Match 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch bays, drive height and the correct carrier. Carriers and adapters are separate unless included in the quotation.
- Firmware & security
- Check any OEM firmware requirement and the exact security variant. Standard, self-encrypting and certified security variants are separate products.
- Replacement planning
- Provide the full drive label and storage-system model. Agree on whether alternatives or mixed firmware are acceptable before ordering.

Can I use a manufacturer model in any server?
No. Firmware, interface, form factor, controllers and OEM requirements may limit compatibility. Supply the exact host model for review.
Will the same PN always include a carrier?
Carriers, brackets and accessories are included only when specified in the quotation. Confirm the complete contents.
Can I request products that are not listed?
