Power distribution & PDU systems: procurement and acceptance
Match the site supply, connections and control scope
Original editorial guidance. Not manufacturer validation, a service certification or a contractual promise.
Identify the purchasing scope
Review rack PDUs, distribution components, dedicated controllers and power connections as exact ordering references. Separate current, voltage, phase, apparent power and control capability; retain regional ratings and manufacturer application limits.
Start with the exact PDU or power-system PN and distinguish a complete device from a controller, cord, connector or dedicated module.
Review dimensions, connections and dependencies
Keep nominal voltage, phase, input plug, supply current and output receptacles on the same review sheet. Do not substitute apparent kVA for active kW.
Use the own row to distinguish input monitoring, per-outlet monitoring and switching; a family headline does not establish every control feature.
Check the offered configuration
Check the target generation, firmware, mounting orientation and required power path for accessories. A similar plug or RJ45-shaped connector alone does not establish interchangeability.
Prepare the RFQ and acceptance evidence
Request actual labels, connections, included leads and condition evidence, and agree who will approve the final electrical installation.
Use the comparison workspace to retain source differences and export the exact identifiers and quantities to the quotation basket. The planner is a review aid; it does not certify compatibility, reserve stock or issue an installation approval.
Request: Device and full model label, Input plug and rating plate, All output receptacles, Controller and mounting details, Included cords and modules. Source references and generated warehouse scenes are separate from evidence of the actual offered unit.
